Job summary

The University of Oklahoma Foundation in Norman seeks an experienced Planned Giving Director to lead the OU Foundation's planned giving program on the Norman campus. You will partner with development professionals across OU and OU Health to maximize charitable contributions through donor-aligned vehicles, establish annual marketing plans, and oversee cultivation and stewardship across a portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or closely related field.
Ten or more years of fundraising experience, including five years in planned giving, with a track record of significant personal achievement.
Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Provide Planned Giving leadership on the Norman campus, partnering with the Executive Director of Planned Giving, OU Health.
Research, identify, and contact planned giving prospects and educate them on opportunities.
Fundraise with emphasis on personal, one-on-one contacts across various planned giving vehicles.
Develop and manage planned giving policies and procedures to ensure proper recording and celebration of commitments.
Lead and train the Advancement team in planned giving, and support solicitation efforts.
