Job summary

Montefiore is seeking a Senior Director/Co-Director of Performance Informatics to lead the Data & Analytics team in the Network Performance Group and advance data-driven quality improvement across the medical center and health system.

The role requires a Master’s in health policy or informatics (PhD preferred), 10+ years in analytics, and proven leadership at a major academic medical center. Strong SQL/Oracle, visualization, and policy knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health policy, informatics or related healthcare field is required.
• PhD preferred for advanced research and leadership responsibilities.
• 10+ years of data and analytics experience is required.
• Experience with AWS cloud computing and data analytics in health systems is required.
• Strong leadership experience in a large academic medical center.
• Expertise in econometrics/statistics, data management, reporting, and study design.
• Knowledge of federal and NY health policy, quality and patient safety, and QI programs.
• Proficiency with SQL/PLSQL and Oracle Developer tools.
• Experience with SAS, Stata, or R and at least one visualization tool (Tableau/Web Intelligence).
• Ability to collaborate across C-suite, engineering, clinicians, and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Leads Data & Analytics within the Network Performance Group to improve data for quality/performance initiatives.
• Partners across departments to prioritize quality topics and resources.
• Defines data governance and reporting infrastructure with Power BI, in collaboration with MIT.
• Provides quantitative analytics to gauge progress toward performance goals.
