One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Director, Paid Media Strategy in the United States.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for developing and driving comprehensive paid media strategies across multiple digital channels. You'll lead cross-functional teams and act as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, aligning media planning with broader business goals. With ownership of media mix, creative direction, performance tracking, and budgeting, you will ensure each campaign delivers on KPIs while continuously identifying optimization opportunities. This role requires deep expertise in paid media, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the development of cross-channel media strategies across Paid Search, Social, Programmatic, and emerging platforms
- Guide planning and performance reviews in partnership with client services, data, and creative teams
- Oversee budget allocation, performance monitoring, and optimization to meet campaign KPIs
- Facilitate the execution of testing frameworks to ensure continuous campaign progression
- Deliver insightful reporting and storytelling around media performance and strategy pivots
- Mentor a team of strategists, providing growth opportunities and strategic guidance
- Support business development by assisting on new business pitches and client onboarding
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in digital media planning and activation, including multi-channel campaign management
- Proven success managing complex paid media programs across brand and performance objectives
- Strong ability to translate business objectives into actionable, data-driven marketing strategies
- Experience collaborating with analytics teams on tracking, reporting, and dashboard development
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with boardroom-level presence
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Prior leadership of cross-functional marketing teams and agency/client collaboration is preferred
