Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Director of Internal Audit - Operational Risk to lead the enterprise-wide assurance program, focusing on operational risk, governance and organizational resilience.

You will partner with executive leadership and the Board to shape audit coverage, deliver independent insights, and drive continuous improvement across risk management frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in internal audit standards, methodologies and practices.
• Experience leading diverse teams, hiring and coaching.
• Deep expertise in operational risk, governance and risk oversight.
• Experience building enterprise audit programs and strategies.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulations and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Operational Risk Internal Audit, establish strategy and multi-year plans.
• Develop risk-based assurance covering ERM, governance, resilience.
• Oversee planning, execution, reporting, issue validation of audit engagements.
• Advise leadership and boards on governance, risk, and emerging issues.
• Direct assessments of ERM, OR, TPRM, BCM, resilience, MRM and issues.
