Job summary

Kitson & Partners, developers of Babcock Ranch, seeks a Senior Director of Operational Accounting for our Babcock Ranch operation in Florida. You will lead GAAP compliance, month-end close, budgeting, and investor reporting while developing the accounting team.

In-office role, 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on Yardi-driven processes for property management and utilities. CPA required; 10+ years in accounting, strong leadership desired.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years accounting experience with 2–3 years supervisory.
• Real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or utility accounting preferred.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor the Babcock Accounting team.
• Oversee month-end close and budgeting process.
• Manage GAAP to cash basis reconciliations and investor reporting.
• Lead annual impairment reviews and ensure internal controls.
• Oversee cash flow projections and debt covenants compliance.
