Job summary

Ashfield MedComms, an Inizio Medical company, is expanding its footprint in the publication space and seeks a senior director to lead the scientific team and oversee strategic accounts. This client-facing role requires directing strategy, mentoring staff, and guiding publication content in Oncology.

The candidate will partner with senior leaders to grow publication work, drive business development, and manage multiple client projects across the US.

Qualifications

• PhD/MD/PharmD with 10+ years in medical communications and oncology.
• Experience leading publication programs across multiple clients and therapeutic areas.
• US launch experience required; travel to client sites may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific team delivering strategic publication content and guidance.
• Direct client strategy, mentoring staff, and overseeing content creation.
• Partner with VPs and managing directors on business development and growth.
• Identify strategic/tactical publications opportunities aligned with client goals.
• Facilitate strategy workshops and communicate complex oncology science clearly.
