Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $245,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types

Location: Raleigh, NC (relocation package offered)

This role is for someone who thrives on driving execution, enforcing accountability, and improving product quality.

Responsibilities

Engineering Quality & Automation -

• Ensure teams implement and execute unit / integration tests and automated testing practices.
• Identify areas with high defect rates and drive automation efforts to reduce them.
• Improve product quality through standardized best practices across teams.

Operational Resilience & Customer Impact -

• Oversee quality practices to reduce customer outages and downtime.
• Implement and enforce incident management and resolution best practices.
• Establish and enforce consistent quality-related engineering practices across teams.
• Identify bottlenecks delaying the implementation of best practices and drive speed of execution while measuring results to ensure these initiatives are positively impacting our customers.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in engineering operations, software development leadership in a tech environment.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development, testing, and automation.
• Proven experience in agile methodologies, sprint execution, and release management.
• Strong project management skills, with experience holding engineering teams accountable for delivery.
• Data-driven, results-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
• Technical engineering experience in .NET, React Native, SQL, and designing/architecting products that utilize those technologies is a plus.
