We’re Hiring: Senior Director of Software Development

Ready to lead an AI-first technology organization—and still stay close to the code?

Our client, a stable and growing financial and risk services company with more than 30 years of success, is seeking a Senior Director of Software Development to own its technical direction and lead a 12-person team across software development, QA, business analysis, data science, and analytics.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for a builder who can set strategy, shape architecture, mentor talent, and contribute directly when it matters. You’ll guide AI and agentic systems already moving into production, modernize delivery on OpenShift and Argo CD, and turn real business problems into software that ships.

• Lead: Own technical direction and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Build: Deliver AI‑enhanced customer experiences, document intelligence, agentic operations, and modern data platforms.
• Stay hands‑on: Work across C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, Angular, SQL Server (T‑SQL, schema design, performance tuning), Kubernetes/OpenShift, IIS, git, and CI/CD.
• Make an impact: Work directly with leadership in an environment with a short path from idea to decision.

You may be a great fit if you bring: 10+ years in software development, 5+ years leading engineering teams, deep C#/.NET expertise, hands‑on experience applying LLMs or AI agents to real business challenges, and experience with data analytics and ETL, including SSIS.

This is a permanent (full‑time) direct hire hybrid opportunity (after completing an onboarding process) with an excellent Dallas company that provides a starting base salary from $135,000 - $175,000, +/-, DOE, in addition to a full benefits package with a 401(k), annual performance bonuses, medical, dental, vision/audio and disability insurances, and much more!
