Scotty's Contracting and Stone seeks a Director of Safety to develop, oversee, and enforce a zero-harm health & safety program across heavy civil, highway, and quarry operations. You will lead safety professionals, drive training, and ensure site compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT standards.

The role reports to executive leadership, shapes proactive safety culture, and partners with operations to protect employees and projects. Strong coaching and communication are essential.

Competenze

• 10–12+ years of progressive safety leadership in construction.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to coach field leaders and build trust across teams.
• Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills; training focus.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT; CSP/OSHA 500 preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs aligned with OSHA regs.
• Inspect sites and lead field safety and management teams for compliance.
• Drive safety culture and proactive training across divisions.
• Lead fleet and driver safety initiatives for trucking operations.
