Job summary

Trinity Search Group is seeking a Director of Preconstruction in the Dallas area to lead high-visibility preconstruction efforts for major commercial projects. You will oversee estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews from concept through GMP/buyout, while building strong client relationships with owners, architects, and design teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience in senior preconstruction/leadership roles
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Proficiency with construction estimating and project management software
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from design to buyout
• Manage estimating, budgeting, scheduling, value engineering and bid procurement
• Develop relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors
• Lead preconstruction meetings and communicate strategy, budgets, risks and opportunities
• Mentor preconstruction/estimating team members
• Collaborate with PM and Operations for a smooth transition into construction
• Support business development, proposals and pursuit strategies
• Help improve preconstruction processes and best practices
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for growth
