POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Director of Nursing, Quality provides daily strategic administrative and operational oversight and leadership to nursing. Will serve as a leader to facilitate and implementing hospital-wide Quality Assurance programs. Serves as a operational leader and directs all quality and performance improvement activities and ensures Joint Commission standards are met. Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout the hospital system and works with top management to ensure compliance with all necessary regulatory agencies. As a member of the Senior Nursing Leadership, the position assumes responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation of systems for the delivery of nursing care in accordance with American Nurses Association’s Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice and Scope of Nursing Administration Practice, The Hospital’s Standard of Care and the institution’s mission and goals.
