Job summary

Vesper Energy seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. You will own the annual planning process, cash-flow forecasting, and management reporting, partnering with senior leaders to translate plans into financial targets and proactive actions.

This role oversees the FP&A function and direct reports, ensuring efficient resource use. You will work with the SVP Strategy & Planning and CFO, aligning finance with corporate goals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required.
• MBA, CPA, CFA or similar advanced credential preferred.
• 10+ years FP&A/ corporate or strategic finance experience in capital-intensive industries.
• 5+ years leading and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual planning and rolling forecast processes linked to strategy.
• Own consolidated cashflow forecast model and liquidity planning.
• Drive monthly/quarterly performance reviews with insights and narratives.
• Develop FP&A governance, calendars, data sources, and thresholds.
• Lead and develop the FP&A team with coaching and performance management.
• Deliver board-ready materials and ad hoc decision support.
• Collaborate with senior management to enhance profitability and growth.
• Ensure alignment of financial plans with corporate strategy.
