Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Wisconsin seeks a Director of Force Support to lead the Force Support Squadron, supervise the Commander Support Staff, and oversee planning and execution of high visibility programs. This role directs all FSS support services and serves as a primary advisor to senior leaders on force support matters.

The position requires coordinating with external agencies, representing the Wing with NGB, and solving complex force management issues.

Qualifications

• Completion of Squadron Officer School or higher education courses can substitute for experience.
• Proven supervisory and managerial experience within a Wing or equivalent organization.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, organizes, and oversees all support services of the FSS for supported units.
• Advises senior leaders on military personnel and force support matters.
• Represents the FSS and Wing to outside agencies; primary point-of-contact with NGB.
• Coordinates and integrates all aspects of force support for the Wing and solves complex issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
