Lead facilities operations for Tufts Medical Center, providing strategic oversight of plant operations, maintenance, life safety, regulatory compliance, capital planning, and infrastructure reliability across a complex academic medical center.Lead and develop a high-performing facilities team while partnering with hospital leadership, clinical stakeholders, vendors, and support services to strengthen safety, patient care, operational efficiency, financial performance, and campus resilience.About the jobIn this senior leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities operations, from skilled trades and maintenance programs to staffing, safety, and compliance, across complex, high-impact environments. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure optimal building performance, and partner with internal stakeholders to drive strategic improvements and operational excellence.Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions.
