Senior Director Of eDiscovery

Employment Type: Full Time, Executive Level

Department: eDiscovery and Litigation

Contact Government Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Director of eDiscovery for one of our large government projects. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an electronic discovery team within the Government. This position is responsible for supporting the Government’s professionals in all aspects of litigation support and e-discovery processes, including project management, Electronically Stored Information (ESI) intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaising with third-party vendors.

Skills and Attributes for Success:
  • Perform administrative functions related to litigation support software eDiscovery databases, including database creation, maintenance, importing data, searching, exporting, document scanning, OCR, coding, and document productions.
  • Process and publish electronically stored information for cases.
  • Assist in preparing documents and exhibits for trial.
  • Manage incoming media, maintain chain of custody, and track documentation for media and data received and produced.
  • Contribute to process development, workflows, and documentation.
  • Work overtime hours as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Apply problem-solving skills effectively.
  • Collaborate with legal teams including General Counsel, attorneys, law clerks, and legal assistants.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within the eDiscovery platform.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and regulations through training and networking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with eDiscovery vendors.
  • Be self-motivated and eager to shape the department's future.
  • Learn new eDiscovery review platforms quickly.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the litigation lifecycle and eDiscovery/document review processes.
  • 7+ years of experience in litigation support, electronic discovery, or technology support, preferably within the government, law firms, or top eDiscovery vendors.
  • Experience with Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity.
  • Experience supporting Litigation Support applications and end-user training.
  • Proficiency with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO, and other eDiscovery platforms.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a favorable Public Trust Clearance.

Ideally, candidates will also have:

  • The Relativity Certified Administrator Certification.
