The Senior Director of Accelerated Training is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the deployment of workforce training, professional academies, and continuing education statewide. The Senior Director will manage a diverse range of training products, develop individual product goals for grant and cash training, and ensure profitability while pursuing growth opportunities within the TSTC footprint. They will collaborate with various business, community, secondary education, and government agencies, as well as TSTC entities. The role includes developing tools to improve tracking, reporting, and data collection to facilitate performance analysis and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in workforce development, training, or technical education programs, with a proven track record of leading statewide or multi-regional initiatives. They should possess a growth mindset and a history of delivering measurable results. Skills in managing full-cycle programs—from planning to evaluation—along with business acumen and strategic insight, are essential. Experience in budget oversight, P&L responsibility, and project management is required for this leadership position.
Salary Range: $99,627.85 - $109,590.63
The final salary offer will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Provide high-level leadership and P&L responsibility for statewide Accelerated Training, including supervising the Deployment Team, managing performance, professional development, budgets, and personnel, and developing operational systems.
Collaborate with senior management and marketing to align with the TSTC mission, values, and goals, and develop expansion business plans.
Engage with clients and develop relationships with management, targeting new clients and increasing training enrollment, graduation, placement, and profitability.
Establish strategic alliances with industry partners, workforce commissions, community organizations, economic development groups, and educational institutions.
Develop and manage a statewide pricing strategy to balance growth and profit margins.
Manage an annual operating budget, monitor revenues and expenses, and oversee the profitability of all programs to ensure financial sustainability.
Serve as the primary advisor and economic development contact for workforce training needs, participating in college committees and leadership teams.
Address questions and resolve issues related to programs and services, including grievances and complaints.
Participate in long-term planning for skills training and economic development initiatives.
Collaborate with other college departments to plan, develop, and deliver training programs and workforce development efforts.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience considered.
4-5 years of leadership or management experience overseeing teams and operations.
5 years of sales experience in higher education or workforce development.
Experience with budgets, P&L, and project management, with knowledge of evaluation methods preferred.
4-5 years of progressive leadership in business or industry, with successful education or training experience and knowledge of workforce development and instructional programs.
Experience in accelerated course and curriculum development.
