Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking a hybrid Senior Director, Nursing Informaticist for a contract opportunity with travel to Alaska. Lead ambulatory clinic nursing informatics during a new Oracle Health EHR rollout.

Drive clinical workflow translation into technical/operational solutions and act as the liaison between clinicians and the implementation team. On-site rotation with periodic remote weeks required.

Qualifications

• Strong nursing background with clinical, operational, and technical depth in Oracle Health ambulatory EHR.
• Proven experience guiding clinicians through EHR go-lives and implementations.
• Able to bridge between clinical staff and IT/ops teams.

• Serve as the on-the-ground nursing informatics lead for ambulatory clinics adopting a new Oracle Health EHR platform
• 40% travel to client site in Alaska is required
• Provide direct, one-on-one support to ambulatory clinic staff working through the system transition
• Translate clinical workflow needs into technical and operational solutions during implementation
• Bridge communication between clinical staff and the broader technical/operational implementation team
• Help stabilize new-system adoption by addressing clinician pain points in real time

Requirements

• Strong nursing background with clinical, operational, and technical depth of knowledge in Oracle Health ambulatory EHR
• Proven experience supporting clinical staff through EHR implementations or go-lives
• Comfortable serving as a bridge between technical/operational teams and nursing staff
• Able to work an onsite rotation schedule with periodic remote weeks
