REGENXBIO Inc. is seeking a senior Medical Science Liaison leader to design and manage a high-functioning MSL organization focused on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and rare pediatric neuromuscular diseases.

The role requires extensive MSL experience, leadership skills, and ability to travel 50-70% to engage thought leaders and investigators. You will partner with Medical Affairs and contribute to advisory boards, publications, and study recruitment while building training programs and resource

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree (MD/PharmD/PhD/MPH or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of MSL experience.
• At least 3 years in MSL management.

Responsibilities

• Design and build an MSL organization with vision, territory design, and budgets.
• Collaborate with MA team to develop therapeutic area strategies and tactics.
• Recruit and coach MSLs; develop scientific training programs.
• Oversee KOL engagement strategy and thought-leader mapping.
• Establish relationships with national thought leaders and investigators.
• Maintain MSL resources: clinical communications, slide decks, publications.
• Lead field insights and competitive intelligence initiatives.
• Support clinical trial recruitment and site outreach.
• Attend medical conferences as MA representative and assist congress logistics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in Duchenne muscular dystrophy and rare pediatric neuromuscular diseases.
• Contribute to advisory boards and natural history studies.
