Why This Role Matters

The Senior Director, Mid-Market & Enterprise (MME) Sales – West Region is a key strategic leadership role responsible for regional sales success, driving national MME alignment, transformation execution, and improving sales productivity across North America.

This role leads the West MME sales team and serves as a cross-regional leader, supporting the Head of Sales in advancing GTM transformation initiatives, creating regional consistency, and fostering a culture of execution, accountability, and success.

You will collaborate with peers across regions, Product, Marketing, Channel, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to develop integrated go-to-market strategies aligned with Vonage’s five-year growth plan.

This is a high-impact, visible leadership position with the opportunity to shape the future of Vonage’s North American business.

Your Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership
  • Own the sales strategy, execution, and revenue for the West MME region.
  • Lead a team of Mid-Market & Enterprise Account Executives across key verticals such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, and Technology.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain top sales talent, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
  • Achieve pipeline generation, bookings, and net new revenue targets aligned with regional quotas and KPIs.
Transformation & National Leadership
  • Coordinate with the national MME leadership team to ensure consistent execution across regions.
  • Champion pipeline health, vertical strategy, sales process discipline, and multi-product selling (UCaaS, CCaaS, AI).
  • Partner with the Head of Sales to identify gaps, remove barriers, and drive continuous improvement across North American MME sales.
Strategic Execution
  • Lead local and regional go-to-market planning with alignment across Channel, Alliances, Marketing, and Sales Engineering.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to secure strategic wins that enhance the Vonage brand.
  • Forecast accurately and maintain operational excellence through disciplined CRM usage and data-driven management.

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in high-growth SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or enterprise tech companies.
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing sales teams exceeding quotas and pipeline targets.
  • Deep knowledge of mid-market and enterprise sales, with experience managing complex deals.
  • Experience with pipeline strategies and 4x coverage models.
  • Operational discipline in forecasting, CRM utilization (preferably Salesforce), and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading go-to-market transformation initiatives and building cross-regional programs.
  • Vertical-focused sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and executive presence skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred.
