Job summary

Bioventus LLC in Memphis, TN, seeks a Senior Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, service and repair, and continuous improvement for the Surgical Solutions portfolio in a regulated medical device environment.

You will drive capacity planning, KPI governance, and cost optimization, while building a high‑performing, cross‑functional team across production, engineering, quality, regulatory, and supply chain to ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in medical devices or regulated manufacturing.
• 8+ years leading large-scale manufacturing, service, or operations teams.
• Experience with capital equipment, reusable instruments, and disposable medical devices.
• Proven success in FDA-regulated environments and ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Lead manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and kitting/labeling across portfolios.
• Optimize global service and repair to improve turnaround times and visibility.
• Ensure readiness for new product introductions and lifecycle management.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement across operations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and R&D to guide outsourced vs in-house manufacturing.
