Job Summary

The Market Development Leader will be responsible for increasing awareness, generating qualified demand, strengthening brand positioning, and supporting the firm's long-term growth objectives.

This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing leader who understands both modern marketing and business growth. The ideal candidate has successfully built digital demand generation programs, developed go‑to‑market strategies, led digital transformation initiatives, and translated business strategy into measurable market outcomes.

This position is ideal for a leader who is ready for the next step in their career, a builder who is eager to shape a modern market development function and grow into a future executive marketing leadership role.

Essential Functions

Market Development Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market development strategy aligned with firm growth priorities.
  • Build a scalable top‑of‑funnel demand generation engine focused on increasing awareness, engagement, and pipeline influence.
  • Partner with Growth Leaders to translate business objectives into market‑facing strategies.
  • Create integrated go‑to‑market plans that leverage content, digital channels, PR, conferences/events, thought leadership, and campaign activation.
  • Establish marketing as a strategic growth partner rather than a reactive service function.

Demand Generation and Digital Marketing

  • Lead the firm's demand generation strategy across digital and traditional channels.
  • Increase lead generation, audience growth, website conversion, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including paid media, SEO, AEO, website optimization, email marketing, social media, marketing automation, and audience targeting.
  • Build scalable nurture programs and conversion pathways that support growth priorities.
  • Establish a modern content distribution strategy that maximizes reach, engagement, and pipeline impact.

Market Positioning

  • Lead efforts to strengthen and evolve the firm's market positioning and brand strategy.
  • Ensure messaging resonates across industries, service lines, acquisition priorities and talent priorities.
  • Develop strategic content campaigns aligned to customer needs, industry trends, and growth objectives.
  • Elevate thought leadership through integrated campaigns, multimedia content, and digital experiences, building a content strategy focused on business outcomes rather than content volume.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team with talent in both the U.S. and India.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Coach team members while identifying future organizational capabilities needed to scale the function.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader capable of attracting high‑performing talent.
  • Improve marketing operations through stronger processes, prioritization, project management, and workflow management, using AI where possible for quality and efficiency.
  • Establish performance measurement frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs tied to growth objectives.
  • Leverage CRM and marketing technology platforms to drive visibility and decision‑making.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success building demand generation programs and measurable top‑of‑funnel pipeline activity.
  • Strong expertise across digital marketing, lead generation, content strategy, marketing automation, website strategy, analytics, and paid media.
  • Experience translating business strategy into go‑to‑market plans and growth outcomes.
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary marketing teams.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Professional services, consulting, accounting, financial services, technology, or other complex B2B services experience.
