Job summary
Lilly Lebanon Advanced Therapies Site in Lebanon, Indiana is building a cutting-edge GMP manufacturing facility for next‑generation modalities. The Senior Director of Engineering will lead process engineering, automation, maintenance, utilities, and project engineering teams to deliver the site’s engineering deliverables and ensure readiness for clinical and commercial supply.
The role requires a strong track record in pharmaceutical operations, cGMP knowledge, and experience in Drug Substance
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 10+ years in a leadership role managing operations in the pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of cGMPs.
- Direct experience in Drug Substance or Drug Product manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead site engineering functions including process engineering, automation, maintenance, utilities, and project engineering.
- Collaborate with site leadership to deliver GMP manufacturing readiness and support startup.
- Develop and implement systems and processes to support startup and commercial supply.
- Drive safety focus through HSE and site delivery.
- Define and execute capital investment plans aligned with site objectives.
