Job description

Pacific International has been retained by a global leader in the manufacturing space currently navigating a transformation. With transformation at the forefront of their organizational strategy, they have retained Pacific on a search for a Global Manufacturing Director leading end-to-end supply chain and operations strategy across a number of key sites globally.

The ideal candidate is a strategic operations leader who can drive change and growth across these key brands. A people focused leader who can coach, mentor and develop a robust team will be key to the success of this transformation.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and engage organization in overall strategic operations plan (supply chain, manufacturing, capital, etc.), aligned to business strategy, to enable growth opportunities and address market conditions.
• Collaborate with senior leaders within business and functions to identify areas of improvement or leverage and adjusts plans as needed to deliver expected results
• Use metrics to lead the performance of a portfolio of manufacturing assets to top performance .
• Drive increased capability and efficiency through visible processes and metrics in the manufacturing, engineering and supply chain organizations to meet short- and long-term business needs.
• Develop talent by engaging in mentorship, coaching, experiences and learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 20+ years of leadership in global operations areas is required (experience gained through large Plant and Functional roles)
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of time
