Job summary

Stand Together is seeking a Director, Major Gifts Partnerships to lead high-value fundraising with foundations and major donors. You will manage a multi-year revenue pipeline, translating initiatives into investable opportunities and securing seven-figure commitments.

You will collaborate with program and executive teams to shape opportunities across nonprofit, education, for-profit, policy, and media domains, traveling up to 50% to engage stakeholders throughout the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in institutional fundraising, foundation relations, or enterprise sales with complex cycles.
• Proven track record of closing 7-figure+ deals with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience engaging senior decision-makers (foundation executives, family principals, C-suite).
• Ability to manage a disciplined sales pipeline and drive multi-year revenue.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a focused portfolio of top-tier institutional and family foundation partners and select major donors.
• Originate and close 7-figure+ commitments through multi-stakeholder engagements.
• Develop strategies aligning foundation priorities with scalable, high-impact initiatives.
• Cultivate long-term partnerships with foundation executives, program officers, and family decision-makers.
