Job summary

Qualifications

• Major- and principal-gift fundraising experience.
• 15+ years of related work experience, including at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong strategic thinker with ability to engage new and existing donors.
• Proven ability to manage projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate Audubon’s mission and programs.

Responsibilities

• Personally manage a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects and donors.
• Lead and grow a team of frontline fundraisers and support staff.
• Oversee multi-year fundraising initiatives aligned to Audubon’s strategic plan.
• Collaborate with state and center directors and strategic leads.
• Engage board members in identification, cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.
• Travel up to 25-50% as needed.
