Fitch Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of M&A based in our New York office, reporting to the Global Head of M&A and Venture Investments.

The role leads strategic transactions, conducts rigorous financial due diligence, and coordinates cross-functional teams to drive value creation across Fitch’s global platform. You will partner with senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, manage deal execution, and support integration planning post-close, leveraging deep financial analysis,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and/or corporate development.
• Exceptional financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to run due diligence and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to build consensus around priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Fitch teams to understand businesses and strategic priorities, translating insights into analyses.
• Perform market research and competitor analysis to shape strategy and deal sourcing.
• Maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities and drive deal sourcing.
• Conduct rigorous financial analysis and due diligence, including valuation modeling.
• Lead due diligence workstreams and support transaction execution across cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to deal structuring and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
