Job summary

TelevisaUnivision's Legal Department seeks a Senior Director of Legal Operations to lead operations, technology and business management, partnering with Legal leadership to drive efficiency, scalability, financial discipline and continuous improvement.

You will partner with Finance, HR and cross-functional teams to implement an annual plan, optimize resources and manage law firm and vendor programs while leveraging AI-enabled capabilities to cut costs and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or equivalent.
• 15+ years in operations or law firm management, with 10+ years in legal operations.
• Proven ability to develop strategic and operational plans with measurable improvements.
• Deep understanding of law firm billing, pricing and compensation practices.
• Experience evaluating and using legal technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and contract management/ediscovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Execution: develop and monitor plans to increase value and reduce outside spend.
• Finance and Budget Management: create and manage the annual legal operating plan and budgets.
• Legal Information Technology and AI: lead tech/AI strategy to improve productivity and cost control.
• Outside Counsel and Legal Vendor Management: oversee billing guidelines and vendor relationships.
• Communications & Administration: align workflows and manage onboarding with HR.
• Talent Management and Education: coordinate CLE requirements and programming for lawyers.
