Job summary

RingCentral in Belmont, CA is seeking a Senior Director of GTM FP&A to lead finance planning, forecasting and analytics for the GTM organization. This role partners with CXO-level stakeholders to drive world-class sales finance insights in a fast-growing, cloud communications company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• SaaS experience in a high-growth environment.
• GTM or sales finance forecasting experience.
• Strong SaaS revenue metrics understanding.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; building models and reports.
• Strong business partnership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with analytical problem-solving.
• Self-starter who adapts to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Anaplan and NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage GTM sales and marketing finance planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Partner with GTM and analytics to manage bookings forecasting.
• Assess new business opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Coordinate with Accounting, BI for month-end alignment.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting; highlight trends and risks.
• Create presentations and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Participate in strategic data analysis and modeling for leadership.
• Coach and develop team members to build capabilities.
• Fulfill ad-hoc analytical requests.

This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a Senior Director, GTM FP&A to manage GTM finance planning, forecasting, and analysis activities. This role will partner with key business units, including CXOs to drive world-class GTM + sales finance planning and insights for the business. Job Duties

• Manage the full range of GTM sales and marketing finance planning, forecasting, and analysis activities including building and reviewing financial models, validating assumptions, as well as challenging data and information integrity
• Partner with GTM and analytics team to manage bookings forecasting
• Partner with GTM teams to assess new business opportunities and provide recommendations up to leadership
• Partner with Accounting, BI and key stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment on month end activities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting – analyzing financial results, distilling / synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
• Prepare presentations and provide recommendations to senior management
• Participate in strategic data analysis and modeling for senior company leadership
• Manage and coach team members to develop/build capabilities and achieve key goals and objectives
• Fulfill ad-hoc analytical requests as needed

Desired Qualifications

• 10 years+ related experience in financial planning and analysis
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related field
• SaaS experience in a high-growth environment
• Prior GTM and/or sales finance forecasting experience
• Good understanding of key SaaS revenue metrics
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint - building financial and decision support models and reports
• Proven ability to form strong business partner relationships
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detailed-oriented. excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
• Great attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
• Experience with financial planning systems, Anaplan and NetSuite preferred
• Comfortable working with large data sets

If you are hired in Belmont, California, the compensation range for this position is between $233,800 and $285,100 for full‑time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
