Job summary

The New York City Mayor’s Office is seeking a Senior Director for Municipal Partnerships to lead the Office of International Affairs' relationships with municipal governments and global networks, advancing affordability, housing, climate, and governance.

You will develop city-to-city partnerships, coordinate international initiatives, and manage regional relationships across multiple partners, including city agencies and international partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in international affairs, education, youth development, public policy, or related fields.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mayor’s Office of International Affairs partnerships with municipal governments and global networks.
• Develop city-to-city partnerships and policy exchanges to advance priorities.
• Coordinate international solidarity initiatives and global city projects.
• Serve as lead liaison for assigned geographic regions with municipal leaders and partners.
