Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Director of External Communications for CMH medicines including Mounjaro, Zepbound, and Foundayo. You will own the consumer obesity communications strategy, shape the global narrative, and guide communications across markets while managing media relations and crisis communications.

The role requires strategic vision, fast execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and investor relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 8+ years of communications experience with a strong background in consumer health, brand communications, and earned media.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship not provided by Lilly.

Responsibilities

• Own the external communications strategy for all approved CMH products, including earned media, thought leadership, advocacy partnerships, and consumer campaigns.
• Lead global communications strategy for approved products with coordination across international affiliates.
• Lead communications strategy and execution for priority CMH medical meetings (ADA, EASD, ACC, AHA) with cross-functional partners.
