Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Director of Business Operations to drive AI-first transformation and cross-functional programs across GTM and Sales. You will lead initiatives delivering scale and efficiency in our top GTM programs, partnering with Sales, IT, and Field teams to realize real business value.

In this role, you’ll guide AI quoting, funnel management, unified seller experience, and other programs, while shaping governance and field execution to improve quote-to-cash processes

• Proven track record in GTM operations and large-scale enterprise transformations.
• Strong domain expertise in GTM processes and emerging AI applications in business operations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead, influence, and align cross-functional leadership and operational teams.
• Experience managing global and matrixed teams with change-management expertise.

Job Summary

A critical focus of this position will be participating in the design and leading the execution of AI-first transformation programs. This role will serve as a senior, hands‑on operational leader on the Business Operations staff, responsible for leading cross-functional transformation programs while delivering business value and scale in day‑to‑day operational responsibilities, including New Product Introduction processes, Bookings Policy Governance, and Field Quote to Cash capabilities.

Your Career:

We are seeking a Senior Director of Business Operations to drive critical programs that deliver both the next generation of Field Capabilities and Sales Operations Services transformation. Your Impact:

• AI & Operational Transformation : Lead GTM and Operations functional/services transformation strategy and initiatives. Deliver targeted program outcomes of scale and efficiency in our top GTM programs through optimized AI solutions by working cross‑functionally with our Sales, IT and GTM organizations.
• Program Leadership representing Global Business Operations and the Field on key programs including:
  1. AI Quoting
  2. AI Funnel Management
  3. Unified Seller Experience
  4. Sales Ops RFP Program
  5. Sales Ops AI Ticket Resolution
  6. NPI Business Process Improvements
• GTM Operations Excellence: Represent business operations in key GTM programs responsible for program design input, execution and field landing, overall quote‑to‑cash improvements, and expanding the leverage and target outcomes across all GTM operational systems, tools, and processes.

Your Experience:

• Proven track record in GTM operations, field‑facing partnership roles, business process redesign, and leading large‑scale enterprise transformations.
• Strong domain expertise in GTM functions, processes, tools, and emerging AI applications in business operations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead, influence, and align cross‑functional leadership and operational teams.
• Experience managing global and matrixed teams, with strong operational rigor and change management expertise.

Qualifications

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com‑missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$248,700.00 - $341,250.00/yr
