The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation is seeking a Senior Director, Strategic Foundation Relations to lead identification, cultivation, and solicitation of private foundation partners aligned with our biomedical mission.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will build a robust foundation pipeline, develop fundable concepts, and guide proposals from LOI through award, collaborating with investigators, program leaders, and executive leadership to translate complex science

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 8–10 years of foundation relations or related experience.
• Track record of securing six- and seven-figure grants or investments.
• Ability to translate complex scientific information into donor-centered fundraising proposals.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a comprehensive foundation fundraising strategy aligned with institutional priorities and revenue goals.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate foundation prospects regionally and nationally.
• Lead proposal development, LOIs, concept papers, and presentations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary proposal teams and manage timelines.
• Maintain donor relationships and reporting with robust stewardship plans.
• Collaborate with executives and investigators to align funder priorities with institutional goals.
