Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a Director in its Expert Services practice to lead forensic accounting, damages analysis, and dispute advisory for top law firms and corporations.

You will manage teams, oversee expert reports, advise clients, and drive business development while mentoring junior staff. A CPA or equivalent and 10+ years of experience are preferred. This role is based in Dallas with a strong compensation package and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of forensic accounting, dispute advisory, and expert services experience.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• Proven ability to manage high-performing teams and deliver engagements on time and to a high standard.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client-facing contexts.
• Must bring an existing client base or book of business valued at $2M+ annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams delivering expert services across financial disputes, economic damages, forensic accounting, and investigative matters.
• Oversee the development and presentation of expert reports, valuations, and damages analyses across litigation/arbitration contexts.
• Serve as a senior advisor to attorneys and clients, providing strategic input on complex financial issues.
• Contribute to business development by building client relationships and supporting marketing efforts.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members across engagements.
