Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Director for Financial Reporting Advisory to work with private equity portfolio companies on accounting and financial reporting, including adherence to US GAAP and IPO readiness. You will guide teams, manage client interviews, and drive liquidity and process improvements.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience; CPA is highly preferred. A&M offers comprehensive benefits and a performance-based bonus program.

Qualifications

• Guide team in information gathering and pursue relevant sources.
• Lead client interviews and understand stakeholders’ perspectives.
• Forecast liquidity needs and identify process inefficiencies.
• Provide accounting and financial reporting insights to senior management.
• 15+ years of experience in public accounting and industry.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a CFO Services workstream across the advisory pillars.
• Define approach, timeline and deliverables; set client expectations.
• Develop initiatives to optimize working capital and liquidity.
• Coach and develop team members; promote knowledge sharing.
• Support IPO readiness and SEC reporting processes.
