Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a senior finance leader to act as the CFO's right hand, driving strategic financial planning and cross-unit performance. This remote role favors candidates in the DMV area, offering influence over budgeting, forecasting, and key business decisions.

You will lead a Commercial Finance team, own the proforma model, and support bids and profitability initiatives across multiple units. Strong leadership and advanced financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of management experience.
• 7 years of related experience in finance or FP&A.

In this influential leadership role, you’ll oversee financial operations, coach high-performing teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to segment leaders, shaping both policy and performance.

Pay Range:

$156230 - $242550

Incentive Eligibility:

Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary

What’s in it for you

With the CFO, lead the development of the Commercial Finance team & processes, manage the Commercial Finance manager, owns the proforma model, support the bid process, supervise/approve all proformas under $500K

Sales Support – Track Pipeline, new wins, new wins realization, retention, cross sales, and YOY performance for all existing customers

• Serve as a strategic business partner, delivering financial insights that influence direction and outcomes
• Shape and enforce robust financial processes, controls, and compliance standards
• Lead a talented finance team, cultivating growth, accountability, and future leadership

What you’ll bring

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent quantitative, modeling, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to analyze and process high volumes of information. Detail-oriented within a fast-paced / changing environment

• Leadership experience with a record of mentoring teams, driving results, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
• Advanced financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and performance reporting
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Strategic thinking with demonstrated success in cost control, pricing strategy, and contract compliance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels
