Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a senior logistics leader to direct daily transportation and courier operations from our Cleveland Global Headquarters. You will oversee asset management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize delivery performance.

This on-site role requires 7–10 years of logistics leadership, strong data analytics, and expertise in transportation systems and third-party providers. Travel ~40% is expected as part of regional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, operations management, or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive stores, logistics, transportation, courier, or supply chain leadership experience.
• Experience in managing third-party logistics providers, transportation vendors, and courier networks.
• Strong analytical, financial, and operational problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with logistics management systems, transportation systems, and performance reporting tools.
• Extensive Microsoft Office Suite Capabilities
• Extensive Data Analysis, interpretation, and presentation systems

Responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics and courier operations for NOAM and other regions to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery services.
• Direct asset management for transportation devices and equipment used for deliveries.
• Manage spend related to delivery and courier operations in the US and Canada.
• Partner with internal teams to optimize supporting systems (POS, UKG, HCM) for transportation needs.
• Develop and negotiate contracts with courier management companies and service providers.
• Direct teams to ensure consistent reporting and cost-efficiency across groups and regions.
• Interact with leadership and vendors to ensure safety and high service levels for employee drivers.
• Identify strategies for productivity, fleet management, and organizational structure to support growth.
• Provide metrics to align progress with goals and strategic targets.
• Monitor spend and develop cost-saving solutions across deliveries and courier agreements.
• Lead operational improvement projects and enhance overall transportation efficiency.
• Utilize Six-Sigma and Lean to define opportunities and measure progress.
• Collaborate with business units to share best practices across SHW.
