Job summary

Stanford Medicine Partners in California seeks a Senior Director of Facilities Services to provide strategic leadership across Environmental Health & Safety, Security, Site Support Services and Emergency Management.

You will oversee budgets, capital projects, vendor relations, and cross‑functional collaboration with SHC and real estate to ensure safe, compliant operations and a culture of safety across SMP sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred in health admin or business
• 10+ years progressively responsible leadership experience in facilities/operations
• 4+ years supervisory or management responsibility
• Strong communication and collaboration with executives, clinicians and staff
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contract vendors and capital projects

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Environmental Health & Safety, Security, Site Support Services and Emergency Management
• Oversee budgets, capital projects and vendor management
• Collaborate with SHC, real estate, finance and clinics to ensure compliant, efficient operations
• Develop and implement policies to align SMP operations with regulatory requirements
• Lead safety culture initiatives and KPI reporting; respond to emergencies 24/7
