Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a strategic Sr. Director of Estates & Special Gifts to lead estates-in-probate, life income gifts, and special gifts programs. You will ensure revenue targets, donor service, and regulatory compliance across PPFA and the Action Fund.

You will report to the National Director of Gift Planning in the Individual Giving department and collaborate with executives to advance gift planning initiatives and reporting integrity.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; CAP, CFP, or JD preferred.
• 10+ years of development or equivalent client-facing experience, including 3–5 years in Gift Planning.
• Experience closing complex life income gifts (charitable annuities, trusts, pooled income fund, real estate).
• Strong grasp of tax laws, wills, and financial planning.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of diverse groups and building an inclusive program.

Responsibilities

• Drives revenue across estates-in-probate, life income gifts, and special gifts.
• Leads estates-in-probate team to resolve matured estates and trusts swiftly.
• Partners with National Director and VP to explore innovative approaches.
• Champions diversity and builds an equitable gift planning program.
• Directs life income gifts, endowment, and IRA programs and secures necessary legal support.
• Delivers contracts, tax forms, and substantiation letters to donors.
