Job summary

Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee is seeking a senior technology leader to oversee the WIC IT team and direct strategy for mission-critical systems, including FL-WiSE and EBT. This full-time, onsite role blends executive leadership with hands-on oversight of core applications and cloud initiatives.

You will coordinate development, product, project, and systems administration across the SDLC, manage risk and security, vendor contracts, budgets, and communicate priorities to executives

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise systems and application development experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, APIs, .NET, JavaScript, Azure DevOps/TFS, and related technologies.
• 5+ years of technical leadership, SDLC management, vendor management, and security/risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical teams across development, product, project, and systems administration.
• Oversee the full SDLC for FL-WiSE, EBT, integrations, cloud, and related applications.
• Manage technology strategy, governance, risks, security, system performance, and disaster recovery.
• Oversee vendors, contracts, SLAs, budgets, and technology procurements.
• Communicate technology risks, priorities, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
