Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Sr. Systems group Manager – Management Systems Development to lead engineering and operational delivery for enterprise applications that govern infrastructure across hybrid environments.

You will own multiple applications, drive automation, and ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will guide a team of engineers, partner with security and audit, and define roadmaps in alignment with enterprise standards. This role requires on-site work at a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years experience with management approaches and influencing others.
• 5+ years configuring and installing software to connect distributed software and services across heterogeneous platforms.
• 10+ years experience within a total IT environment.
• Proven leadership of software engineering and platform teams.
• Strong experience in enterprise application development, SDLC, Agile delivery, DevOps practices.
• Hands-on with enterprise-scale infrastructure management, server inventory, governance, automation.
• Experience programming in .NET, Java, and/or Python.
• Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud environments: Azure, AWS, on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security, risk management, SOC/PCI compliance, audit-ready control environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise server inventory, governance, and management systems across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Provide end-to-end ownership for multiple applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop systems and automation capabilities for self-service network and server management.
• Drive adoption of automation, APIs, self-service platforms, and modernization initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee production support, incident response, problem management, release management, and change control processes.
• Define and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities and enterprise standards.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs focused on health, resiliency, risk reduction, service availability, improvement.
• Lead and coach a team of engineers and Agile resources across organizations.
