Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial due diligence with a focus on energy sector.
• Familiarity with energy markets, including power, renewables, midstream, upstream, and clean energy sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements and manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial due diligence on energy companies, assessing TAM/SAM/SOM, growth potential, competitive positioning, and strategy.
• Analyze power pricing, capacity markets, offtake structures, and resource adequacy to support investment decisions.
• Assess federal/state policy, regulatory and market developments and their implications for investment theses.
• Synthesize findings into board-ready, data-driven reports and recommendations.
• Serve as senior point of contact for investors, portfolio companies, lenders, and energy stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage junior team members, overseeing analytical workstreams and deliverables.
