Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Senior Director or Director, EHS & Training in Austin, TX to lead enterprise EHS across the Services fleet and to own the training function. The role requires building strong field safety culture, regulatory compliance, and career development pathways for the Services organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with field leadership, customers, and internal teams, turning policy into practical standards and scalable training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health and safety, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive EHS experience with multi-site responsibility.
• Experience leading EHS programs, incidents investigations, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading or supporting a technical training function, including curriculum development and field-based delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS governance and management system for utility-scale solar and energy storage operations.
• Own the Services training strategy, governance, budget, standards, and annual plan.
• Develop and implement a role-based training program for technicians and site leadership.
• Prepare executive reports on performance, risks and corrective actions.
• Collaborate across Origis functions to maintain standards and client commitments.
