Job summary

National Geographic Society is seeking a senior leader to design and manage immersive educator experiences. You will lead education initiatives, partner with divisions and external funders, and shape the educator engagement strategy across multi-year programs.

You will use data and research to improve programs, ensure high-quality content, and manage budgets, timelines, and teams while expanding impact in K-12 and higher education settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Ph.D. degree preferred.
• 10+ years in K-12 education, professional development, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, refinement, and strategic management of immersive educator experiences.
• Focus on educator programs: professional learning, leadership capacity building, resource creation.
• Develop multi-year plans, goals, metrics and budgets; accountable for performance.
