Amgen is seeking a Corporate Affairs Senior Director to lead communications for the Development organization and its pipeline. You will partner withDevelopment leadership to craft strategies that illuminate Amgen's scientific progress and leadership in drug development.

You will combine scientific understanding with strategic storytelling to elevate executive visibility, support milestones, and strengthen enterprise reputation across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Doctorate with 5+ years of communications or public relations experience.
• Master's with 8 years of communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's with 10 years of communications or public relations experience.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a related scientific industry.
• Experience leading strategic communications for complex scientific or regulatory initiatives.
• Demonstrated success as a trusted advisor to senior executives, including executive communications and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the communications strategy for Amgen's Development organization and pipeline portfolio.
• Advise Development Senior Leadership on executive visibility and issues management.
• Shape enterprise pipeline communications across the clinical lifecycle.
• Translate complex science into clear, engaging narratives.
• Collaborate across Corporate Affairs to ensure aligned messaging and milestones.
• Develop a high-priority strategic communications program for the division.
