Job summary

Merrick Bank, a prominent financial institution headquartered in South Jordan, Utah, seeks a Director of Deposit Operations to oversee the deposit area systems, call-center operations and staff. This leader will drive new deposit products, ensure compliance, and partner across departments to optimize procedures.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in retail deposit operations, strong analytical and managerial skills, and experience with core banking software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 4+ years' experience in lieu of education accepted.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in consumer compliance regulations (BSA/AML, Reg. DD, etc.) and call-center/vendor oversight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deposit operations across processing platforms and call-center operations.
• Develop and implement new deposit processes and products with risk/cost analysis.
• Design and document controls for deposit and call-center operations.
• Audit deposit account operations daily, weekly, and monthly for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other bank areas and primary processors to ensure systems are operational.
• Create training for staff on new processes and initiatives.
• Lead special projects and implement approved efficiency improvements.
