A leading company is seeking a Senior Director Client Solutions Architect. This role focuses on designing and delivering innovative data platforms with cloud-native solutions, solving client data challenges through collaboration and strategic insights. Candidates should have extensive experience in data architecture and a strong background in cloud technologies.
We are seeking a high-level individual contributor Client Solutions Architect - Senior Director who combines deep expertise in cloud data architecture with a passion for solving client problems through innovation, collaboration, and strategic insight. This role is ideal for a senior leader who can serve as a trusted advisor to our enterprise clients, leading the design and delivery of modern data platforms that power marketing, analytics, and customer engagement initiatives.
You will collaborate with clients across industries to assess current data environments, envision future-state architectures, and design scalable, cloud-native solutions using platforms like Snowflake, and enterprise services on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with C-level and senior stakeholders to understand business goals, data challenges, and transformation priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor , translating high-level business needs into actionable data and technology strategies.
- Drive adoption of modern architecture principles and evangelize solution value across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Architect scalable and flexible data lakehouse, data warehouse, and real-time analytics solutions.
- Lead end-to-end solutioning, from assessment and roadmap creation to detailed technical design and cloud migration execution.
- Innovate reusable patterns, frameworks, and accelerators to support repeatable client success.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, marketing, and delivery teams to co-create client-ready solutions.
- Align internal stakeholders on architecture decisions and drive consensus for scalable, secure, and performant designs.
- Lead presales solutioning, proposal development, SOWs, and demos in partnership with sales and consulting teams.
- Lead technical workshops, solution deep dives, and proof-of-value (POV) pilots to validate architecture feasibility and client alignment.
- Design and oversee modern data pipelines (ETL/ELT), data modeling, governance, and security architectures.
- Guide teams working with Snowflake-native capabilities such as Secure Data Sharing, Snowpark, and Zero-Copy Cloning and integration patterns across marketing platforms and CDPs.
- Define standards and guardrails for performance tuning, DevOps, CI/CD, and FinOps cost optimization.
- Lead modernization & migration of legacy platforms (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop) to cloud-native solutions (Ex: Snowflake).
- Create comprehensive migration plans to Snowflake , and other cloud ecosystems.
- Champion data sharing and clean room strategies to unlock value in partner and third-party data collaboration.
- Stay ahead of evolving data and cloud technologies to advise clients with future-ready solutions.
- Publish reference architectures, case studies, and internal playbooks.
- Mentor rising architects and consultants across the organization to scale expertise and impact.
What You Will Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud modernization, and client-facing consulting roles.
- Strong track record in designing and delivering modern data platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Demonstrated experience in data migration projects (e.g., Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle to Databricks/Snowflake).
- Deep understanding of data modeling , data governance , and marketing analytics use cases.
- Solid understanding of modern data architectures (data lakehouse, streaming-first pipelines, real-time analytics).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise solutioning engagements and gain cross-functional alignment.
- Experience with security and compliance controls on Data: encryption, auditing, access controls.
- Familiarity with cost optimization and performance tuning best practices in cloud environments.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect), and cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with industry use cases in marketing analytics, clean rooms, customer 360, or real-time segmentation.
- Demonstrated success in solutioning roles within client-facing teams and agile delivery models.
- Experience with data security best practices, including access control, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
