Job summary

Flex in Austin is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Accounting to lead head-office accounting and payroll for the SpinCo spin-off planned for Q1 2027. The role will own the end-to-end monthly close and ensure accurate financial reporting for a large global manufacturer.

You will manage treasury, payroll, and accounting for benefits and compensation, while guiding external and internal audits and SOX compliance for Corporate & US payroll.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting and CPA certification.
• 10+ years of progressive management experience in head-office and payroll accounting at a public company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the monthly close process for corporate entities with accurate reporting.
• Manage treasury, deferred compensation, corporate aircraft and legal accruals.
• Lead US payroll, benefits, and workers’ compensation accounting and budgeting.
• Manage forecast and cash flow cycles for Corporate accounting.
• Lead external/internal audits and SOX compliance for Corporate & US payroll.
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, legal and other corporate functions; support M&A and reorganizations.
