Job description

What We’re All About

Do you ever have the urge to do things better than the last time? We do. At Quantexa, this urge drives us every day. We are heading in one direction: the future. Our environment of discovery and innovation allows us to create deep and valuable relationships with our clients, driving real change for them and their industries. Here, you’ll experience autonomy and support in equal measure, allowing you to build a career that matches your ambitions.

With 41% of our colleagues from an ethnic or religious minority background and over 20+ languages spoken across our 50+ nationalities, we are proud to have cultivated a true sense of belonging for all. We’d love for you to join us.

The Opportunity

Are you a disciplined sales leader who thrives on leading teams and closing high-value, complex platform deals? At Quantexa, we are dedicated to driving innovation and delivering a clear return on investment for the financial services industry through more trusted risk management, financial crime detection, and customer analytics.

As a key leader in our newly reorganized Go-To-Market team, this position is pivotal to our strategy to expand our footprint in the North American banking market. We are looking for an exceptional "player-coach" sales leader to build and define the sales engine for our Core Banking segment (major banks outside our top-tier global strategic accounts, typically those with >$100B in assets).

This is an opportunity to lead, mentor, and expand a team of 4 to 6 motivated sales professionals, transitioning them from a point-solution focus to selling our broader, transformational Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) platform capabilities.

Location & Hybrid Model
  • Primary Hub: New York City (Boston or Charlotte we may also consider).

  • Requirements: East Coast based clients and partners

  • In-Office: An expectation of 2-3 days per week (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our New York office to foster collaboration, unless traveling for client meetings.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and Execute GTM Strategy: Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the North American Core Banking team, establishing a disciplined, repeatable sales cadence.

  • Act as a True Player-Coach: Manage and mentor a team of 4 to 6 Sales Directors while actively participating in the sales process. You will lead from the front, joining your reps in the trenches to co-sell and help navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • Drive 7-Figure Platform Revenue: Consistently deliver against sales targets, securing high-value enterprise platform deals and building a robust, qualified pipeline.

  • Position Outcomes over Features: Move beyond selling simple point-solutions (like traditional AML or Fraud tools) and instead educate bank executives on the strategic business value of a unified Decision Intelligence platform.

  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner closely with critical internal teams—including Solutions Engineering (SE) to build technical trust, Alliances to leverage co-sell opportunities, and Industry experts to align our platform with key banking pain points.

What You’ll Bring
  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience as an enterprise software sales manager or director in North America, with a demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and elevate high-performing sales teams.

  • Consultative Sales Discipline: A strict, process-driven seller (e.g., MEDDPICC, Sandler, or similar methodologies) with a track record of instilling this qualification rigor into your sales team.

  • Complex Deal Track Record: A proven history of personally closing and overseeing large, complex, 7-figure enterprise software/platform transactions within the financial services sector.

  • Hands‑on Mentality: A rejection of "command and control" management. You are an active selling partner who loves rolling up your sleeves, chasing inbound leads, networking at events, and directly participating in deal cycles.

  • Business-Technical Acumen: The ability to understand the complex data challenges within a bank and clearly articulate how advanced technology solves those core business pain points.

  • Experience of collaborating with Global Alliances and partners (such as GSIs and Hyperscalers) to accelerate sales cycles and scale deal sizes.

Personal Attributes:
  • Ambitious, highly energetic, and determined to succeed.

  • A direct, "no-nonsense" communicator with excellent executive presence.

  • An inclusive decision-maker who values collaboration but has the confidence to take decisive independent action when required.

  • Resilient and perseverant through long, highly regulated banking procurement cycles.

Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience working at a technology company during its mid-stage growth phase (e.g., scaling from $100M to $250m+ ARR).

  • Prior experience selling Financial Crime, Fraud, Compliance, or enterprise data management platforms into banking environments.

  • An existing, active network of senior executive relationships within the North American Core Banking landscape.
