Convoy of Hope seeks a Senior Director – Convoy Equip to lead enterprise learning strategy and curriculum development in a faith-based nonprofit environment. You will design a comprehensive learning model, on onboarding, leadership development, and organizational compliance, aligning training with strategy and mission in a collaborative cross-functional setting.

You will partner with division leaders to scale learning, reduce duplications, and drive career development across the organization.

Formación

• Seven years’ experience in training and team management is required.
• Master’s degree in education is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in education is required.
• Experience working on an LMS platform is required.
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information are required.

Every team member is expected to model Christ-like character and to integrate their faith into their work and interactions.Ministry Function:The Senior Director – Convoy Equip supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope (COH) by establishing processes, resources, and training and development to equip COH team members with the knowledge, skills, character, and leadership capacity needed to grow personally, serve effectively, and advance the mission of bringing help and hope to communities around the world.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develops the structure, strategy, resources and curriculum for a comprehensive continuous learning model based on adult learning, and instructional design. This hybrid model approach will encompass and include new team member onboarding, leadership development, manager/supervisor development, career development framework, organization wide compliance training, learning technology and maintaining a training materials library.Works alongside division leaders to assist with their identified needs related to their fields of expertise, division-specific processes or operational training needs, as requested.Actively looks for opportunities to reduce duplication of effort and save money related to organizational training across all teams.Creates infrastructure for career development.Connects training to organizational strategy, needs, and plans.Facilitates a cross-functional group that meets on a monthly basis to discuss and recommend shared training needs, recommendations on speakers for topics crossing divisions and development topics.Bullet point about Workvivo posts for Raising the Bar and the Supervisors space.Fulfills all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Seven years’ experience in training and team management is required. A master’s degree in education is preferred; a bachelor’s degree in education is required.Experience working on a LMS platform required.Ability to establish collaborative relationships required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to stay informed on vocational education trends, challenges and opportunities required.An avid mentality and passion for learning required.Exhibits strong Mac or PC proficiency and working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn other COH systems as needed.Possesses the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion.Organizational Values & Ministry Participation Requirements:As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is critical that team members embrace the organization’s religious purposes for which it exists and not only agree with its Statement of Faith but demonstrate it in their lives on an ongoing basis.Demonstrates cultural awareness, humility and an ability to learn from international colleagues to strengthen global collaboration.All team members are expected to contribute to the successful coordination and delivery of major organizational events (IWD, etc), working cooperatively across working groups as needed.Attends and actively participates in COH At Home Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the organization and fellow team members.Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
