• Bachelor’s degree required; extensive relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years related project development work experience in public and private sectors and in community relations/ legislative affairs.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of community relations principles and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide community relations support for real estate development projects.
• Advise on and manage relationships with local boards, officials, community organizations and developers; ensure project support.
• Develop and execute community relations strategy for statewide economic development projects.
• Attend and manage meetings with elected officials and community leaders to advance project priorities.
• Represent ESD at community events, hearings and meetings; take notes as needed.
• Monitor issues affecting communities and develop solutions with the team.
